Lotsa Screens and LED

ERG showThis one was a lot of fun with quite a few presets due to the number of screens. Our room was wide and shallow which necessitated the high number of screens. The client wanted to be able to put any source on any of the screens at any time. They also had looping video content for the LED tower structures between the screens. These served as a visual reference tied to the content.

We used the Barco E2 to handle all the screen destinations, LED towers and DSM’s.  The E2 really shines in this environment. I created presets to cover every possible combination the client desired and tied the LED walls and DSMs to the main screens as needed. Each element in the show took two clicks to go to screens. It was really easy. Almost too easy to be honest.

The show went really well and the client was ecstatic with the end result.

Great Example of a Two Projector Blend

This was a really fun show for a great client. They wanted a floating screen that stretched the full width of the stage. The designers drew up a 12’x36′ front-projected screen that we drove with four Barco projectors double-stacked. Screen resolution was 3840×1080 with a 600 pixel blend. Alford’s projectionist totally nailed the convergence and the Barco E2 made the center blend super-easy. At showtime we overlaid IMAG and Graphic PIPs and the client was really happy with the final results.

Video village was located in an adjoining room. All video positions – graphics, playback, engineering and switching were centered around the Barco E2 rack. We had a great team and it was a really fun show.
